By accessing or using TeachLynx at teachlynx.ca, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the platform.
TeachLynx is an AI-assisted educational productivity platform designed for use by teachers and school administrators. The platform provides tools for lesson planning, homework generation, quiz creation, grading assistance, and content sharing.
TeachLynx uses artificial intelligence to assist with content generation. AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, outdated information, bias, or inappropriate material. AI systems are imperfect and can produce incorrect, misleading, or unsuitable outputs. You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and approving all AI-generated content before using it in any educational setting or distributing it to students. TeachLynx makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, completeness, or fitness for any purpose of AI-generated content. Always review all AI output before use.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, TEACHLYNX AND ITS OPERATORS, EMPLOYEES, AFFILIATES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM: (a) your use of or inability to use the platform; (b) any AI-generated content produced by the platform; (c) any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in content; (d) any decisions made or actions taken in reliance on platform content; (e) any unauthorized access to your data; or (f) any other matter relating to the platform. YOUR USE OF TEACHLYNX IS ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK.
Nothing on TeachLynx constitutes legal, medical, psychological, or professional educational advice. AI-generated lesson plans, assessments, and accommodations are suggestions only and do not replace the professional judgment of qualified educators and specialists. Teachers are solely responsible for all instructional decisions made using content from this platform.
You may use TeachLynx only for lawful educational purposes. You agree not to use the platform to generate, distribute, or promote harmful, abusive, discriminatory, or illegal content. Violations may result in immediate account termination without refund or notice.
You retain full ownership of original content you create on TeachLynx. You grant TeachLynx a limited, non-exclusive license to store and display your content solely for the purpose of operating the service. AI-generated content is provided "as-is" with no ownership claims by TeachLynx.
You are solely responsible for all activity under your account. You must maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials. TeachLynx is not responsible for any loss or damage resulting from unauthorized use of your account.
Use of the Google Classroom integration is subject to Google's own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. TeachLynx is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google LLC. TeachLynx is not responsible for any issues arising from Google's platform or changes to Google's APIs.
TeachLynx is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free access. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the platform at any time without notice or liability.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless TeachLynx and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the platform, violation of these terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Ontario.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of TeachLynx after changes are posted at teachlynx.ca/terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
